SIIPIWEIKOT – WEIKKOKAUPPA TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE AND DELIVERY

1 General

These terms apply to all consumer purchases (“customer”) made on www.weikkokauppa.fi and its sub-pages (“Siipiweikot Web Shop”). The sales contract is concluded between the customer and Hot Wings Oy (Business ID 0931309-7, “Siipiweikot”).

Siipiweikot may change these terms without prior notice; the version in force at the time of ordering is applied. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory consumer rights provided by Finnish or EU law.

Force majeure – Siipiweikot is not liable for delay or damage caused by an unforeseeable event beyond its reasonable control. The customer will be informed without undue delay, and Siipiweikot will fulfil its obligations as soon as reasonably possible.


2 Customer data & privacy

The customer must provide complete and accurate contact details when ordering. Personal data are processed in accordance with the GDPR; see our privacy notice at www.weikkokauppa.fi/tietosuojaseloste.


3 Prices

  • All prices include Finnish VAT (food 14 %, merchandise 24 %).

  • Shipping costs are added at checkout and shown in the total price before payment.

  • The price displayed on the product page at the time of order is binding. If a price is obviously incorrect, Siipiweikot may cancel the order and refund all payments.


4 Ordering

  1. Place the desired items in the cart.

  2. Enter your contact details and choose a shipping and payment method.

  3. Accept these terms and pay for the order.

A binding contract is formed when Siipiweikot sends an order confirmation to your e-mail. Check the confirmation immediately. Siipiweikot may cancel the order before dispatch if items are unavailable or a clear error exists; any payment will be refunded promptly.


5 Payment methods

Payments are processed by Paytrail Plc (Business ID 2122839-7, www.paytrail.com). Supported methods:

  • Finnish online banks and debit/credit cards

  • MobilePay

  • Walley Invoice (Collector Bank)

  • PayPal and international cards

Paytrail appears as the payee on your bank or card statement and forwards the payment to Siipiweikot. For payment-related complaints, please contact our customer service first (Section 11).


6 Delivery methods & costs

Shipping cost includes handling and packaging. Delivery times are estimates; public-holiday peaks or carrier delays may extend them. Siipiweikot is not liable for delays caused by incorrect address details or failure to collect the parcel.


7 Right of withdrawal & returns

Consumers may cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods (Finnish Consumer Protection Act, Ch. 6 § 14). Notify your cancellation by e-mail to weikkokauppa@siipiweikot.fi.

Follow the return instructions provided by Siipiweikot and keep the return receipt. Siipiweikot refunds the payment (minus the above fee) within 14 days of receiving the goods and return documents.

If the product is defective or wrong (Section 8), return is free of charge. The web shop has no direct exchange process; you may place a new order after the return.


8 Complaints

Report defective, wrong or transport-damaged products within 14 days to weikkokauppa@siipiweikot.fi with a photo and description of the fault. Siipiweikot will replace the item, refund the price or agree another solution. The customer pays no return costs if the fault is attributable to Siipiweikot or the carrier.


9 Uncollected shipment

Failing to collect a parcel is not a cancellation. A returned, uncollected parcel incurs a € 10 handling fee, deducted from the refund. Always send a cancellation notice separately (Section 7).


10 Dispute resolution

Contact our customer service first (Section 11). If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, you may:

  1. Seek advice from Consumer Advisory Services (www.kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta) and, if necessary,

  2. Submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).

You may also file a complaint via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr. Finnish law applies to these terms.

We answer enquiries, returns and complaints on Finnish business days as quickly as possible.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
